I would not bank on that Rog, me, John the harp and another did a warm up set for him about fifteen years ago in The Blubell in Hull.........I gave him a big build up and he never even mentioned us; and he sat and read his paper all through our set !!

My favourite songwriter. I bought him a half of bitter in Cleethorpes about 40 years ago - do you think he'd buy me one back if I turn up on Monday? :-)

There will be a rare appearance in the North of England by Leon Rosselson, that sharpest and most controversial singer/songwriter at 'NOT The White Horse Folk Club', The Foresters Arms, Beckside, Beverley on Monday 29th October starting at 8.30pm. Entrance on the door is £6.00.

His songs have been covered by eveyone from Billy Bragg to Martin Carthy and Roy Bailey. It' a rare treat, so get there early!

Incidentally. a guy rang me last night wanting to know whwre we were, as he's a great Leon fan - I presumed he meant where in Beverley, but no - he meant in the country, and when told it was East Yorkshire, he thought that there might not be enough time to get there after work from Brighton! Good taste in music, not so hot on geography!!
Richard
