There is one that is in all the Girl Guides song books, the Little Owlet or Baby Owlet, which is adapted from the Spanish.

I run a small singing group for mothers and toddler in birmingham England. We are currently using the theam of forest animals in the group and I have many wonderful songs we sing. However, I am looking for the lyrics to a song I have heard before about one little owl said hoo, hoo.

I beleive this is a traditional folk song but I have been unable to find the lyrics anywhere. Does anyone out there know them and if so do you know anything about the songs origins or history
