National hardware chain Robert Dyas sell cheap washboard tuners- some have handy claw fitting on the rear, others a flat bit!

one of them. the trouble with going into Liedl is that you see all this stuff, and it looks a bargain, but you never eat it. You fill your trolley for very little money though.

The Lidl's supermarket in Dingwall [Scotland] are selling these tuners for £14. That's up to £5 less than normal. As Lidl's is nationwide in the UK, I assume they may be available elsewhere.
