Yes I was there for about ten minutes last year. Sheehans had promised me a good deal on a Taylor and then reneged on it - bloody annoying as I had sold my best yamaha to pay for it. I stamped out.

I got a great deal on a Yamaha the year before - a cpx15cm - that's the cedar top, very sweet! that was the year Ralph McTell played there - his last gig playing Yamahas - he'd already moved onto these Gibsons he's besotted with at the moment.

And the year before that i discovered Eric Roche there. the best guitarist I ever saw, or ever expect to see.

I've bought loads of Faith guitars this year - that's what I play all the time now. And I'm quite looking forward to meeting their team. I was going to go early but I get tired - I've got a bit of a heart condtion. I was thinking of going about three pm.

I'll look out for you. Not stopping for the evening session so I'll miss Mr J.

Have you been before? My advice is to get there as the place opens. Its much quieter. Don't bother going on Sunday as all you'll play are guitars with knackered strings!
