Allison Krauss's fiddle version of "What Child Is This?"

"Mary, Did You Know" sung by Kathy Mattea or by Clay Aiken

any up-tempo rendition of "Joy to The World"

Barenaked Ladies and Sarah MacLachlan's medley of "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen"/"We Three Kings"

Dan Fogelber's original composition "The First Christmas Morning"

The Muppets and John Denver singing "Christmas Is Coming"

I have a Jewish friend who is a renowned concert pianist....he once told me some 40 years ago that the only thing that could possibly ever convert him to Christianity would be Christmas music...

As I would assume that the question was a serious one, I have recently discovered and rather enjoyed the Christmas music of Coope, Boyes and Simpson on their CD "Fire and Sleet" which I recently heard on Classif FM...

Chip Davis (of Mannheim Steamroller) is also an early music fancier. Working with various early music groups and orchestras, he put together a non-electronic collection of instrumental Christmas music (17th c. and earlier, if I remember correctly) that I could -- and do -- keep in the CD player throughout the holiday season.

The CD is called Renaissance Holiday.
