We had a devastatingly good evening with the Park Bench Social Club at the Lewes Arms in Sussex last night - they are on tour from deeply northern parts. If you get the chance to hear them, do.
                                                         
They are three young musicians who mix musical genres with abandon, huge energy, good humour & incredible virtuosity: Ross Couper (a Young Shetland Traditional Fiddler of the Year) Aidan Curran (from Canada, guitar, mandolin, vocals) Will Lang (bodhran, an All-Britain champion & All- Ireland finalist).

Last night Peter Tickell stood in for Ross Couper and I can't say we were short-changed.
