Subject: RE: coast of malabar: who's the vocalist? From: Big Mick Date: 18 Jan 08 - 04:11 PM Ian, it took all of 30 seconds to find any number of sources that indicate it is Ry singing two cuts on that CD. I love his version of the Coast of Malabar. Great CD, and well worth the money if for no other reason than to hear the Rolling Stones sing on The Rocky Road To Dublin, which includes a small lead lick from "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" Mick |

Subject: coast of malabar: who's the vocalist? From: GUEST,Ian Date: 18 Jan 08 - 03:43 PM I have an mp3 of "Coast Of Malabar" with The Chieftains featuring Ry Cooder from the 1995 "Long Black Veil" CD, but endless i/net searching does not reveal who the VOCALIST is. Surely it's not Ry? Help please. |
