Hi Pav.
Yup indeed. the Peel session is the only known recording of Glencoe.
Obviously there are probable cassettes of live gigs, but, sadly it never saw the light of day in a professionally recorded form.
(and even the Beeb don't have the Peel session anymore....before you ask!)

I just had a trek through all of Nic's records, or as many as there are shown on the net...and The Peel Session does indeed seem the be the only time Nic recorded Donald Pride Of Glencoe.

Donald Pride Of Glencoe is listed on Peel session broadcast on 11 July 1972.

Am I right in thinking Nic has never recorded this? I have been unable to trace it in discographies, but I know he sang it.
