You're lucky to find it so soon. I found mine three years on, after moving a piece of furniture, The (now spare) bridge pin is taped to the back of the headstock.

Bridge pins are so cheap that internet/mail-order is not such a good idea. Shipping costs and/or minimum order levels will easily come to the price of enough pins for a dozen or more guitars (including 12-strings!).

So, I hope you have a music store nearby.

I'm fairly sure that the diameter of the holes into which you insert the pins (and thus of the pins themselves) is standard from one brand of guitar to another, but it's probably worth making sure that you buy ones that fit your instrument.

If you have to buy one, you might has well break the bank and splurge on a full matching set.

Hi Cap,

Those widgets are called bridge pins and are commonly available at music stores. If you absolutely must use internet shopping, any on line music store should have them, too. You can spend quite a bit of money purchasing pins made from exotic materials, but they're not necessary and the plastic ones work fine.

while attempting to change my strings ,I have lost the plastic widgit that goes into the hole to hold the string down at the bridge end,anyone know where on the internet I can get replacements,or got any suggestions,of alternative ways to hold the string in.
