This is a must do for any Mudcatter that lives in the area. My Mrs. and I used to help as staff members until we moved away 5 years ago. It is one of the finest small festivals in the country and has a nice lay back and relax atmosphere.

Anyone who will be in southern California May 22/23 might check out the Claremont Folk Festival at Larkin Park, Claremont. It is very eclectic, from Celtic to Southern Mountain, from Bluegrass to Jewish, from Old Timey to Kids.

I'm going to try to be there on Saturday, Mrs. John willing; i'll be the one with no instrument and the 'how the hell can they do that, and sooo well' look on my face.
