Subject: RE: Tech: Thunderbird - What am I doing wrong? From: Bonnie Shaljean Date: 06 Apr 08 - 08:05 PM Nope - I'd already tried those things, but no joy. There are a couple of other mozilla pages that mention this problem, though they seem pretty old. So I'm still stumped - |

Subject: Tech: Thunderbird - What am I doing wrong? From: Bonnie Shaljean Date: 06 Apr 08 - 06:21 AM Downloaded the new Thunderbird email programme because I started having this problem with my old one, though initially (and for ages) it was fine. I can't make the junk-filter work, even though I have been into every menu and ticked every possible box. No matter how often I mark an incoming message "junk" it lands in my Inbox, as do the repeat-offenders, and nothing ever ever ever gets shunted through to the spam folder. This feature always used to work fine in my previous T-bird, then one day for some reason it just stopped. So I copied all the emails I wanted to keep (which I do anyway), ditched it, and downloaded a new one. The new one, an upgraded version, seemed to remember my name and account details - which is fine because they haven't changed - but I have no better luck in training the junk controls. I am not doing anything differently from before, and it worked then. And I've used T-bird for years. Is it me or is it It? And what do I do? Waaahhhhhh - |
