From Australia, Nicole Murray & John Thompson (www.cloudstreet.org/) offer hot harmonies with spellbindingly precise delivery. They add humour, vitality & excitement to traditional & modern Australian, English & Celtic songs & tunes. Guitar, flute, fiddle, whistle & concertina enrich the mixture.

This workshop day offers the perfect opportunity to discover & explore vocal harmony. We will cover warm-ups for body & voice, useful techniques to enhance your tone, breathing, pitch, phrasing & rhythm, enjoyable songs in parts, & improvisation & harmony development.

11.00        A comprehensive approach to physical & vocal warm-ups. Singing techniques - getting the basics right.

12.30         Lunch

13.30        Building harmonies. Matching pitch, blending tones & applying these techniques in song.
        
15.00         Tea/coffee break

15.15 – 16.45 Further exploration. Improvisation & developing your own harmonies.
