Thanks Ron. No Neil McKay has his own group and is doing very well. After I stopped (last gig was at the Branches and Roots 2004.) he moved on and has just released his second c/d. Erin (Kelly) Ethridge is a young lady from fiddling country (Chapeau)and has won a few awards at Pembrooke and other areas. I must google her to see what I can find.

Truth be known I had implants in my vocal folds about 2 years ago and it is only in the past 5 to 6 months that I have been able to carry a tune to a degree. That is the reason I had been refusing gigs. Oh, I've been going to local coffee house and gatherings as such doing two to three songs (out to one this evening.)but nothing like a half hour gig. I'm not nervous (well a little.) but more concerned with my wind stamina. I'm on heavy doses of medication which is controlling my arthritis very well but one of the side effects is shortness of breath.
Good title Gnu. You knew I'd have a look with a title like that. Thanks Peace, Kat, myself and thank you Bonnie. Good to hear from all of you.

We've been after him to perform at the Side Door for a couple years now, so we're thrilled that we finally talked him into it. Adrien has been entertaining folks in the Eastern Townships, the Chateauguay Valley and the Island of Montreal with his sea shanties and Maritime ballads since 1967. Joe Byrde, a Newfoundland sidekick living in Chateauguay, has been with Adrien most of this time adding to the fun with his remarkable memory for tunes on his accordion. Bob Davis on bass and Randy Merlin on mandolin (from Hemmingford) add to the sound and voice. Both are in their own bands of Country and Rock and Roll.
