Just listening to a LP titled "Edith Wilson/1921-22 with Johnny Dunn's Original Jazz Hounds".
Some kind of honest blues, although Edith has had a more concert hall-like voice. But I like it. And her side-men are excellent against the background, that these tracks were recorded in 1921/22.
Does somebody remember her resp. her recordings?
OK, I'm aware that this is a place for folk music. Therefore, messages from jazz freaks are highly wellcome!
