Maggie Gee e-mailed me the other day with the sad news, and told me that the Monday night sessions are going to be held at The Ship, Westgate,Guisborough, as of Monday 19 May.

This is a great shock to me too, I'd not heard anything of an impending closure either. What happened - does anyone else know?

Whatever, I do hope Claire and Dave are surviving somewhere and somehow -such real nice folks, so all the very best to them wherever they are.

This fine establishment, run by Mudcatters Gillie and Magician (Claire and Dave) and staunch supporters of Live acoustic music and song has gone apparently.Great beer also incidentally
I only stumbled on the Info. when looking at thread " Peter Bond at Guisborough 16th May".
This was big shock to me, I don't know the reasons , and perhaps the nature of Peter Bond's thread (please consult)has hidden this fact which would be otherwise unknown to many of you who are good friends of this great couple.
What a sickener for all concerned.
