He was a splendid fellow, and his singing although quiet was a pleasure to listen to as well.

Bob was well known to many people in Folk/Bluegrass circles in NW Kent/Medway. He was proficient on guitar, banjo and harmonica, but perhaps his greatest gift was the ability to inspire others, and he always made time to help people. Bob was great fun to be with, with an endless supply of jokes, and perhaps it was this sense of humour which kept him going throughout the last few years during a period of long illness. Bob finally lost the fight yesterday afternoon, and died peacefully in his sleep. Farewell to a good mate.
