Just watched some video. The kids all seemed to be having a great time. Couldn't help noticing most were girls - shame the boys still regard dancing as a girls activity. Rowan was planning to do it but would have been the only one so he dropped out!

The Championships for 2009 take place tomorrow at Larks Hill Schoool in Pontefract. I believe it starts at 1.30 but have no idea how long it lasts. Hopefully they will all have as much fun as last year.

They were all brilliant!! We had a best overall award which Larkhill won and a stepping and buzz award won by two of the teams from Barnsley.

I think there were 10 teams in total, it was great. We hope to do it again next year bu which time we might have even more teams!

The under 12 championship took place today in Loughborough. Molly (mootlefish) took part with her school team the Larkshill Sword Squad and if I understand right they were awarded a trophy but more importantly they all had great fun and played their part in keeping the tradiotion going. Well done kids!
