Subject: Gainsborough OT fest video From: BanjoRay Date: 26 Jun 08 - 10:50 AM The Arts Council run a website called Take It Away, apparently for the encouragement of people who want to learn an instrument, and someone's made a video at the 2008 Gainsborough Festival in February, with commentary by foaotmad member Carole Finer on her experiences of learning to frail a five-string banjo. You can see it here. It gives you a good idea of the atmosphere at the festival and what Old Time sessioning's all about. Cheers Ray |
