Agreed, Jim, but I thought it worth mentioning, as someone visiting Liverpool might kick themselves if the opportunity to see Hughie (a Liverpool icon) had been there and no-one had thought to mention it.

I think the Everyman club is still going, and very good it is too, don't know that I'd call it a session tho'.

The Everyman fok club is on a Tuesday night, i think - run by Hughie and Chrissy Jones still if i remember correctly (may be a bit out of date though)

Used to be an Irish session at Pogue Mahons in Seel Street but I haven't been for a very long time so don't know if it still goes on. They could try phoning

You don't say what kind of session.

The Junction at Rainhill used to have a bluegrass session on Wednesdays but again it's a long time since I've been there.

Pity they won't be there Monday - good Irish session at The Edinburgh, Sandown Lane Wavertree.
