Thanks for the suggestion - I'd found a number of promising programs, but none do what I want, which is to type the lyrics out, and put chord s above the appropriate words. Chord pro Manager does it, but not for mac

"chord pro manager" for mac

as a search line and found something called Guitar Chord Trainer for Mac.

You might also try searching versiontracker.com using a variety of search terms.
