Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD: Fond Desire Farewell From: Jeri Date: 24 Feb 09 - 09:01 AM Spam usually does get deleted. The CD is beautiful and is an amazing work which I hope gets much attention. Deb's da bomb, but I can do one thing she can't. I can spell Schenectady. (Having grown up a few miles outside of it made it sort of a mandatory skill.) |

Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD: Fond Desire Farewell From: Bonnie Shaljean Date: 24 Feb 09 - 08:45 AM Ahhhhh, he's gone to the Great Deletion In The Sky. I was just getting to rather like him; imagine all that dedicated clicky-work just so we could get all those brilliant bargains and save all that money ... Anyway, it brought your CD back up to the top which is no bad thing. |

Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD: Fond Desire Farewell From: DebC Date: 25 Nov 08 - 12:11 PM Errr...I think you are thinking of Mr. Grammy. And yes, I've got DM hot on the trail since as producer, he's the one who has to submit. :-) Emmy is the television award. Hope you're not freezing up there is Schnectady. Deb Hmmm...Poor Mudcat. I just hit submit and it didn't take. So this might show up twice. |

Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD: Fond Desire Farewell From: Anglo Date: 25 Nov 08 - 12:33 AM Mr Emmy is the guy you send your CD to if you want one of his annual awards. E.g. folk record of the year, best production, etc. They give prizes on the telly and you get to say thank you to your mum. |

Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD: Fond Desire Farewell From: Anglo Date: 24 Nov 08 - 10:43 PM Apparently not. I should pay more attention. |

Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD: Fond Desire Farewell From: DebC Date: 24 Nov 08 - 10:42 PM Thank you very much, John. Your kind words are much appreciated. Who's Mr. Emmy? We aren't officially rolling it out until after the New Year. However-"Fond Desire Farewell" will be available at the December shows (see my performance schedule for details) and you can also go to Falling Mountain Music as John mentioned. You can also contact me for the details on how to order one. Happy Thanksgiving! Debra |

Subject: Debra Cowan - New CD! From: Anglo Date: 24 Nov 08 - 09:57 PM Good heavens, am I the first to congratulate Mudcat's DebC on her new CD. Produced by Dave Mattacks, stunningly crisp sound (are you listening, Mr Emmy?), and a lovely piece all round. I've only skimmed through it so far, but I thought you'd all like to know. Titled "Fond Desire Farewell," it's on Falling Mountain Music (FM 1054) and I'm sure that her webpage will let you know how to get your own copy. Many of you will know it's been in the works for some time, and now here it is. Well done Deb.
Moved from a duplicate thread. |

Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD From: DebC Date: 10 Oct 08 - 01:57 PM Hi Jean, The funny message you got is probably the automatic message that says an email has been sent to you for confirmation. I have an opt-in system; no one is on my email list that doesn't want to be there. As for the streaming file, it is working for me. I use iTunes and when you click on the link it should download to your computer and then play through whatever music player you have. I don't do Microsoft (we are an Open Source household :-) ) Sorry I can't help in this. But *you* will get the CD around mid-November. Anyone who orders before Oct. 20 will get the CD then. Otherwise, it will be available in early 2009. Best, Deb |

Subject: RE: Debra Cowan New CD From: Jean(eanjay) Date: 10 Oct 08 - 11:46 AM Debra, I have just pre-ordered a copy. I tried to go on your email list at the same time but got a funny message. I haven't been able to get the Steve Tilston song to play either. I saw him at the Cutty Wren folk club a few weeks ago and bought one of his CDs. I'm still enjoying your CDs that I bought in the auction. |
