Mr Emmy is the guy you send your CD to if you want one of his annual awards. E.g. folk record of the year, best production, etc. They give prizes on the telly and you get to say thank you to your mum.

Good heavens, am I the first to congratulate Mudcat's DebC on her new CD. Produced by Dave Mattacks, stunningly crisp sound (are you listening, Mr Emmy?), and a lovely piece all round. I've only skimmed through it so far, but I thought you'd all like to know.

Titled "Fond Desire Farewell," it's on Falling Mountain Music (FM 1054) and I'm sure that her webpage will let you know how to get your own copy. Many of you will know it's been in the works for some time, and now here it is.

Hi Jean,

The funny message you got is probably the automatic message that says an email has been sent to you for confirmation. I have an opt-in system; no one is on my email list that doesn't want to be there.

As for the streaming file, it is working for me. I use iTunes and when you click on the link it should download to your computer and then play through whatever music player you have.

I don't do Microsoft (we are an Open Source household :-) ) Sorry I can't help in this.

But *you* will get the CD around mid-November. Anyone who orders before Oct. 20 will get the CD then. Otherwise, it will be available in early 2009.

I haven't been able to get the Steve Tilston song to play either. I saw him at the Cutty Wren folk club a few weeks ago and bought one of his CDs.

I'm still enjoying your CDs that I bought in the auction.
