I received the following from the good folks at Borealis Records (Rick Fielding is a Borealis artist) and thought some Mudders would enjoy this show if they can receive it.
Matapat (featuring Bourque, Bernard, et Lepage) will be appearing on National Public Radio's "Mountain Stage" across the U.S. this week. Mountain Stage is a (taped) live concert that features roots music of various kinds. The stations that carry "Mountain Stage" broadcast the show at different times, so check your local program listings for detail.
Matapat is a fabulous trio from Quebec that plays French Canadian music with Celtic, jazz, and worldbeat influences.
Tune in to the NPR station in your area for some great French Canadian music!
