Thanks, Ruslan. I don't really play mandolin but if I had the tab to this song I might start. BTW I'm the one who originally posted the lyrics that are now in DT, a couple of years ago. I've loved this song since I first heard it nine or ten years back. Fortunately I was taping off the radio when it came on.

Hello, Jon W. I can play mandolin part. I'm goin' to try write down tabulatura. When I'll have done it I'll send you a message. It's easy. Also I'm goin to write guitar tab. Are you play m-n? I'm beginner in m-n playin. But I like it very much. I like to play Big Joe Williams's song. It's sound like his 9-string guitar. Very funny.

Roger in Baltimore - thank you very much! I had tried to fund this song in this database, may be i done it in a wrong way. I'll teach myself to use it right.

Ruslan,

Welcome to the Mudcat! In addition to this discussion forum, there is the DigiTrad Database (DT) which includes lyrics for over 6,000 songs in the folk and blues tradition. The search engine is in the upper right hand corner of this page. I typed in [another world] and found this song.

Enjoy the song!

Roger in Baltimore

Can you write me another verses of Charlie McCoy song from Document BDCD-6016 pos.15 "That Lonesome Train Took My Baby Away"?

I walked down the track, when the stars refused to shine Looked like every minute I was goin' to lose my mind Now my knees was weak, my footsteps was all I heard Looked like every minute I was stepping in another world

Thanks!
