My mate Richard from The Rawmarsh Mashers is starting a new club in Rotherham.

"Flat Cap Folk, bringing the best of Yorkshire Folk Music to Rotherham.

The Club meets on the third Thursday of each month, opening with a Grand Evening on the 15th October, with Guest Stars, Toen' In The Dark and Brother Crow hosted by The Rawmarsh Mashers.

The Club has been generously sponsored by the Rotherham Transport Club for three months, so it's very much, a use it or lose it but the with the quality of guests already lined up it's bound to be a big hit with anyone with a passing interest in Folk Music.
Best of all the Transport Club are making Flat Cap Folk a free entry evening. Beer at Club prices - and no bingo.

So come all and be merry, and you're sure of a warm welcome - and if you want to sing a song there's a chance of few Floor spots as well.
