Born in Scotland, Isla is one of Britain's foremost traditional singers, noted for the depth of feeling she brings to her country's music. Isla is more widely known as a television personality, but always manages to delight audiences with her skilled performance, many songs learnt at her mother's knee, including some in Gaelic.
