In "Songs Of Our Teens" I was reminded of great summer songs. These are fast, probably trashy songs, the kind that you want on the radio when you are driving down a hot road to a beach. Katrina and the Waves, "Walking on Sunshine" is a quintessential shallow summer song, with no redeeming social merit at all. Paul Simon's "Late in the Evening" (The Central Park Version) is another hot summer song. Must dance!!!
Anybody got any new ones, or secret ones we should know about? I haven't heard any this year at all.
