With apologies for the extracurricular missive… I will be making a late-scheduled appearance at the Watford Pumphouse (Local Board Road, Watford WD17 2JP) this Friday 26th February, from 8:00pm.
This being my third gig there, and what with the Pumphouse being "home from home" as it were, in the first half I will be dragging out some of the old favourites that have been left out of my setlists in the last 3 years, in my rush to present ever newer songs. That will include "It takes a soldier", "Hello and Goodbye", "Living on the stilts" and anything else you might ask me for (by email in advance, please). But I will also include my latest (2 days old), "Hang Around", which went down so well at its first outing at Herga on Monday. Then in the second half there will be the usual choruses of course, strung together without intros to fit in as many as we can. Should be fun!
So, if you have nothing better to do on Friday night and you are not beholden to "MasterChef" or "Embarassing Bodies", perhaps you'd like to join me…
