Last time I had a string break, it was a B, which I had managed to kink while installing it. Haven't lost an E in twenty five years at least, and I don't change them as often as I should. They are expensive, but better tone and value than Martins. Of course that is on MY guitar. Others' mileage may vary. Don T. |

Bad QC certainly. When you think about it, it is likely that the majority of packs that a shop has are from the same batch, packed and sold at the same time. Try a different shop, and a complaint to d'Addario? They might replace, and would want to know, anyway. |

I use scores of sets every year and haven't personally broken one in many years. Check your instrument. Peace, Mooh. |
