So Tiger, were you there? If so, were you at any of our jams? If not, that was probably the last one at Sunrise Resort, so too bad you missed it. They are probably moving to a new location next year.

We had a great time, although I have tracks on my left-hand fingers from the guitar, blisters on my right hand fingers from the bass, a crick in my neck from the fiddle and bags under my eyes from no sleep!

I got all excited when I saw that 2 people had posted and might be going to Sunrise! Thanks, anyway, Rick for posting the note. It would be nice to run into you sometime and pick some bluegrass. (This would be the place to drag Duckboots, by the way, since they have lots of OTHER things to do besides music).

Well, I guess Duckboots could be dragged kicking and screaming to a bluegrass show, but I'm the one that loves it. Forgot to reset the cookie.

Never even got a response (except from myself) for Winterhawk, but I did hear that Vixen was going to Pemi. Didn't actually see her there because I didn't know what she looked like (bbc's pictures were posted later), but there was a sighting of Tim while his band was on stage!

So here I go again, spreading the word about another bluegrass festival this weekend at Sunrise Resort in Moodus, CT, USA. Entertainers include Doyle Lawson, Blue Highway, Gary Ferguson Band, Schankman Twins, Midwest Wind, and several other regional bands. And the resort has some pretty nice facilities (on the river) for those not-so-fanatical bluegrass partners, although I've never actually indulged, being of the opposite persuasion.

We'll be there, pickin' our brains out, singing our way to exhaustion so we can show up at work on Monday like zombies.

If any mudcatters are planning to go, look for the SHAW sign. Or just look for us. Or post something here and give me a clue.
