Dunno about the postman, but I am indeed in Jersey with my lovely lady. Been here a year next week, how time flies.

Time to dust off my guitar and unleash it on the locals - have found an open mic night at an Irish pub in town on Monday nights. I've been putting it off, but I think it's time to break cover.

I think you mean the other way round... "la cuesta" is the hillside. "La cuenta" is definitely the bill. See, it's happening again already!

My sister went to Spain some years ago, and went to music festivals all over the place. She brought home lots of Gallician music, which is WONDERFUL!!!

But one should always remember La Quenta is the hillside. La Questa is the bill. My sister spent a week asking waiters for the hillside.
