*grin*...and if we had a computer that mimicked the human mind and was able to look at 'orange' and NOT get it confused with its other search critera.....it would probably also look at your request and say..."naaahhh, you don't want to go there, I got a better idea!"

In that case, chalk it up to the illogical processes of computer thought. Every once in a while something like this happens. I personally think it is a conspiracy to drive all computer users crazy.

MMario, good idea, but it doesn't explain it, for a search for the plural, 'oranges', has no problems at all.

I did a search for 'flute *range' and got it. Here 'tis: OLD ORANGE FLUTE

And by the way, searches for 'nova' work now. I have no idea why, but they do...

the fact that it starts with "or"

which is one of the commands for the search program...

the search also has trouble with words that start with "no"

and I suspect would have trouble with words that start with "and"

When I posted 'Old Orange Flute' a month ago you (all) were so polite not to point out that this song is already in the DT database. And I sure had searched for it for I hate double work. Now I found it while searching for 'croppies'. So I know it's in there, but I don't get it out searching for [orange flute]. I get nothing at all when I search for 'Orange'. I made a test and searched for 'apple' and got a lot of songs, some of them even telling about 'oranges'. I then made the final test and searched for the colour 'green' and had lots of hits. (Why just Green? Ah, let's not start this again, I could have taken any colour for a test). Forget all this rambling and just answer this:

What makes 'orange' a forbidden word for a search? I'm puzzled.
