Darn and double Darn, I'm taking off for the old Pacific Northwest on a week long motorcycle ride. But we won't leave untill the 18th. So won't get up that-a-way for a couple of days. Well perhaps next year we can plan the vacation better. :o(

'Tis true, Emily. It will be Saturday, September 18th at 1 p.m. on the Victory Music Shanty Stage (Main Stage) at Thea's Park in Tacoma.

I'm amazed. I never dreamed I would get this far. My thanks to SandyBob who, with another local musician, recorded the audition tape with me. It could have been his wonderful vibrant bass voice that swayed the judges!

Barbara has spread the rumor that Margarita, being a finalist in the Seattle Sea Song and Chanty Competition, will be up here performing on Sept 18th!

I for one would be tickled to attend. Please, if you can, bless us with details!
