It's nearly impossible to clearly separate the fact from the myths surrounding Daniel Boone, but if you want a good feel for the subject, I heartily recommend: "Daniel Boone: The Life and Legend of an American Pioneer", by John Mack Faragher, 1992, Holt & Co., ISBN 0-8050-3007-7. It's available in papreback at abt US$15.00

That's about as much as I can (or even care to) remember. Damn! When you write them out, the words just stink out loud!

Can anybody help me find the words to a couple of songs? "Carvin-A" - a songs about a school boy who prefers the enjoyment of self gratification to just about anything else (that's as tame as I can describe it) and "Danial Boone" - the lyrics to the TV series theme song starring Fess Parker.
