Subject: RE: Interactive Mudcat From: katlaughing Date: 07 Oct 99 - 03:24 PM Max, they do have an interactive phone in talk show on AIROS, called Native American Calling, but it does not have a chat room, forum, etc. This is truly unique. There must be some funding out there. Since you are in a college town, I would hope there would be business incubators and/or grantwriting personnel who could help out with ideas. I have a friend, here in Wy, who is an expert in grant writing and where to find funds. I'll send her an email and see if she has any ideas. kat |

Subject: RE: Interactive Mudcat From: Peter T. Date: 07 Oct 99 - 03:17 PM NO, it doesn't work with my MAC either, all you get using Netscape is repeated entry registration queries. Yours, Peter T. |

Subject: RE: Interactive Mudcat From: MMario Date: 07 Oct 99 - 02:11 PM Max, if you were in NY I would suggest trying for a grant through NYSCET --I think that's the acronym - NYS conference on Education and Tech. Or through the BOCES organization....I don't know what the equivilants would be in Penn. BTW - your chat room, even though a prototype is the best I have been "in" - except for the blasted window size! |

Subject: RE: Interactive Mudcat From: Max Date: 07 Oct 99 - 01:37 PM I am excited about this. My head is spinning with ideas to perfect this concept. I don't know of anyone else exploiting this concept. As is tradition with the Mudcat, you will see me work this concept to its utter end. I can't wait. If we just had a little funding... Maybe I'll try for a grant for this concept. Anyone got any ideas? |

Subject: RE: Interactive Mudcat From: MMario Date: 07 Oct 99 - 01:14 PM I know I certainly did, Sam. (BTW - break a leg this weekend!) Now if I can just get the RealAudio working, so that I can read my mail, read the forum, chat AND listen to the 'Cat all at the same time.... |

Subject: Interactive Mudcat From: Sam Pirt Date: 07 Oct 99 - 01:11 PM Last night I was listening to Mudcat Radio while also on Mudcat Chat. Right there and then as i typed things into the chat room certain things were spoken about on the show (Beer Beer Beer!!!!). The most amazing thing is is that I am over here in the UK!!!! interacting in real time with the show, yes it may have been 12.00midnight in England and 7pm in America, but don't you think its AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Cheers, Sam
