Welcome Judy. You'll find you have to give up something in your daily existance to make room for mudcatting. I've eliminated vacuuming, washing the car, that extra cup of coffee, and Frazier re-runs. My life is much fuller now.
I'll be playing a couple of cuts from your album on next weeks show. Still enjoying it.

Joan, Yes I am the lucky one to lead the Sunday morning sing at NOMAD. We will all miss you, at the sing, at NOMAD, in the spaces around NOMAD.

NOMAD, by the way is NOrtheast Music Art & Dance, an all volunteer festival in Sandy Hook, CT. This year it's November 5-7. I know at least 4 mudcatters besides me who will be there. Who else? (Should that question be on a different thread?)

I'm glad to know there's a thread on acronyms, and to know what LOL is. I find it's good for the digestion.

Hi Judy, I'm new too, and when I first joined I started a thread 'Terminology dictionary for new comers' (In those days I didn't know how to spell newcomers)
Lots of good Mudcat Lingo starter tips in that thread. If you can't find it in the Search, just click on the my name (blue clicky) above, and you will find that thread is my First Baby Posting

We had a thread on acronyms, I think it was in Sept. I'll go hunt it down and rbing it back for you and others who may be wondering.

I found out what **BG** stands for and I have one on my face to find myself among such jovial, kind company. I'm also humbled by the depth and breadth of knowledge here. None of this comes as a surprise to me; plenty of friends have told me so. Since the Getaway I have been reading some of the postings and finally registered,posted my first thread, and was delighted by the responses. I guess I'll slowly learn the ropes and what more of the abbreviations stand for. For instance, I thought I understood what LOL meant - but now I'm not sure... Lots of Love? Luck? Laughter? or does it depend on context?
