Hi Bron,

The scanner is a Mustek 600 III EP Plus. I've never had a scanner before and found the installation and use very easy. On top of that the price was right. $69.95 CDN (that's probably less than $50.00 US)for the scanner, cables and software. I bought it from a chain opteration called Future Shop.

Photos can be a problem on the web as they tend to take up a fair amount of disk space and some ISPs will start to charge an additional fee if you exceed your space limits and if the amount of data accessed from your site in a month exceeds a predefined amount.

From a wood carving mailing list I joined I have learned about Photo Point and thought I would pass this information on to the Mudcat. If you have more photos to post than bbc can accomodate or if you have other photos you would like to post for some reason this may be the place for you.

The only disclaimer I will put here is that I have not (yet) signed up and tried to put anything there. I have visited a lot of wood carver sites though.
