Lori's tune is lovely, but it was originally set by Henry Bishop to another tune, "I'll gang nae mair tae yon toon" in 1828! Info on Stirling University website.

That's a poem by James Hogg (1770-1835). Lori Watson set it to music and sang it on her 2006 CD Three.
