Subject: Tune Req: Porridge and Black Bears From: Cappuccino Date: 19 Dec 18 - 05:20 AM This is probably a request for British readers. Can anybody remember which tune which was used on the old Scotts Porage Oats TV commercials about forty or fifty years ago? I think it was the Black Bear, which is supposed to be Britain's fastest regimental march, but I'm not sure. I need it for a Burns Night ceilidh! (Yes, they do write it as 'porage'... and there is a reason!) Thanks. -Cap |
