If you want to listen to the actual tune Black Bear, it's on Youtube, played by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.
Heard it loads of times at the end of the Edinburgh Tattoo, but not sure about the advert.

This is probably a request for British readers. Can anybody remember which tune which was used on the old Scotts Porage Oats TV commercials about forty or fifty years ago? I think it was the Black Bear, which is supposed to be Britain's fastest regimental march, but I'm not sure. I need it for a Burns Night ceilidh!

(Yes, they do write it as 'porage'... and there is a reason!)
