This Friday is the third of our five 50th anniversary sessions at the Dragon Folk Club. All welcome from 8:15pm at The Bridge Inn, Shortwood, Bristol, UK, BS35 5RB.

Free entry; cheap bar; great acoustics.

The first of our five 50th Anniversary sessions passed well considering the short notice. We will continue with this celebration throughout June, so come and join us any Friday night from 8:15pm at The Bridge Inn, Shortwood, Bristol, UK, BS16 9NG.

Everyone is welcome but we are particularly looking for people who have been to The Dragon Folk Club at some time during its long history... perhaps you can sing a song you have sung for us before!

Blog report - Fifty come Friday

The Dragon Folk Club was started at the end of May 1969, at The Lamb pub in Iron Acton, which is near Bristol, UK.

Since 1995, with just one year elsewhere, we have been meeting almost every Friday at The Bridge Inn, Shortwood, Bristol, UK, BS16 9NG.

Since 2013 we have been recording details of our sessions in our popular blog.

From this Friday, 31 May 2019, and every Friday through to 28 June, we are celebrating our half century with what we hope will be some special sessions. As always, everyone is welcome, whether to perform or just listen but we would particularly like to welcome people who have been regulars (or irregulars) at the club in the past. Perhaps you would like to sing some songs you performed many years ago at the club? That would be great.

We would love you to join us for this special season with all the usual benefits of Free Entry, a Cheap Bar and Great Acoustics.
