Subject: Rebecca (2020) Netflix From: Nigel Parsons Date: 23 Oct 20 - 07:10 AM Watched this new version last night on Netflix. At one point the main character, The Second Mrs DeWinter (Lily James) goes through the kitchen (below stairs) and there's a party going on (during the ball above stairs) and there's a folk singer, but also when she's driving into Manderley there's a haunting version of "Let no man steal your thyme" playing in the background. There may have been more I missed as I had the volume on low, but I thought it was a good version of the book. |
