Myra,and Red, started Southend Folk club which i believe later became HOY AT ANCHOR FOLK CLUB.
Myra was an excellent blues singer, who recorded with Digby Fairweather, a cd.. Wild Woman Blues.
I first met Myra when she was living in Sheffield she was in effect my mother in law for a number of years, a kind generous woman , who encouraged a lot of singers on the uk folk scene.
Condolences to her husband Red, and to Pauline Kevin and Duncan
