Hi,
I haven't had anyone respond yet that lives in the Inland Empire, (Riverside, CA) that might want to go together to this upcoming concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Just thought I'd post again as the concert dates are getting
closer on Aug. 17th and Aug. 18th. Will need a ride there and back home after the concert. I can help towards gas money. Non smokers only please.

Hi, Lin - Daniel Boling and his wife Ellen are both former National Park Service rangers. We hit it off with them right away. Such nice people!

Yes, I can understand that living in Placer County, you are not exactly around the corner from Los Angeles. Ha, ha, a LOT of corners to travel to Southern, CA. I wonder if they will be playing anywhere in northern, CA? Maybe you can look online to see their tour It must have been really great to have met Daniel Boling on your Hawaiian cruise.

Hope you are having a nice summer. It's been so hot here for almost 2 months now with temperatures every day mostly in the high 90's and over 100 degrees, around Riverside anyway.
I don't do too well in very hot weather. Have to have AC running all day and all night and lower then the 78 degrees that the utilities company recommends because at 78 it is still too warm and uncomfortable for me.

Oh, Lin, I wish I could go to this concert. I met Daniel Boling and his wife on a Hawaii cruise in 2014. A couple of years later, he joined the Limeliters and had to learn all their repertoire as well as keeping up his solo performance schedule and performances with Tom Paxton. I'd sure like to see him in concert, but it's such a long drive from Placer County (where I live).

The Kingston Trio, The Limelighters, The John Stewart Band and more will be performing in concert on Aug.17 and
Aug. 18th at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. I am in the Riverside, California (Inland Empire) area. I don't have a car and wondering if anyone who lives in my area would like to go to this concert together? I can help with gas but we would each buy our own tickets to get in. Hopefully,we can arrange it so that we can sit together. I can't afford to rent a car and anyway haven't driven for a number of years, especially on several freeways and at night. I am a senior citizen. I would love to attend this concert very much and would be great to have someone to go with. I think it is at least 1 1/2 hours to get there, maybe longer with traffic each way. Either day is fine with me. Aug 17th or Aug. 18th.
