Okehampton services contains not only a Travelodge but also 'The Hog and Hedge' best food on the road in the West. All local produce. This is not only an ideal stop for the A30 but also a good base for Devon Cornwall and Exeter and possibly all points east down the coast. It beats the insane layout of Exeter services and the naff services at Bridgewater.
