Sad to share the news that George Welch died on 21st August 2025, peacefully and surrounded by love. A true one of a kind who meant so much to so many in lots of different ways...music, art, poetry, hats, 'very poor' jokes etc. A celebration of his life, will be held on the 8th September 2025 at 10:30 - West Road Crematorium. Newcastle followed at 12:00 - at The Cluny, 36 Lime St, NE1 2PU.
