Yeah, she was brilliant in a wide range of performances.
Another music link is her character Lola Heatherington in the SCTV television series - based on the singer Joey Heatherington.
She leaves behind a fine legacy.

She was excellent in Schitt's Creek, as was the whole series.

Very sad, she was one of the great comic actors on both the large and small screens. A high point for me was her turn as Moira Rose on Schitt's Creek, playing one of those hoity toity society dames that she did so well but she was so versatile, playing a wide variety of characters going back to SCTV, where I first encountered her.

I suppose Catherine's best known scene in A Mighty Wind was "Mitch and Mickey" singing "A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow":

And here's "When You're Next to Me" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMbeMmYkAXQ

The act is vaguely reminiscent of Ian & Sylvia.

IMDb entry. She was so good at whatever she did. Here's a special IMDb link to Remembering Catherine O'Hara. And she was in A Mighty Wind, so she belongs above the line on this music site.
