Subject: RE: Obit: Comedic Actress Catherine O'Hara (1954-2026) From: StephenH Date: 01 Feb 26 - 01:58 PM Yeah, she was brilliant in a wide range of performances. Another music link is her character Lola Heatherington in the SCTV television series - based on the singer Joey Heatherington. She leaves behind a fine legacy. |

Subject: RE: Obit: Comedic Actress Catherine O'Hara (1954-2026) From: GUEST,gillymor Date: 31 Jan 26 - 12:28 PM Very sad, she was one of the great comic actors on both the large and small screens. A high point for me was her turn as Moira Rose on Schitt's Creek, playing one of those hoity toity society dames that she did so well but she was so versatile, playing a wide variety of characters going back to SCTV, where I first encountered her. |
