Here’s a gem! Kindly pointed out to us by Ken Hunt is a programme on BBC Radio4 Extra broadcast on Wednesday 6th May at 10.00am. It’s called ‘David Attenborough and the Natural History of Folk’. You can access this hour-long delight on the BBC radio app. Amongst these great recordings Bob and Ron Copper are given the space to sing the whole of ‘Cloddy Banks’. Michael Gorman, Margaret Barry, Bob Roberts, Lilly Cook, Harry Cox, Seamus Ennis, Shirley and Dolly Collins, Jack Armstrong, Alan Lomax and more are also here…’Song Hunter’ was David’s early TV series before ‘Zooquest’ was screened to a relatively small television audience.
