Subject: Waulking song Heather and Glen? From: Sarah Kathleen Date: 12 May 26 - 01:08 PM Hello, I’d love to have the lyrics or at least the titles to help search more for the Gaelic waulking songs, especially the second one, on the track called Dandling, Spinning, and Waulking songs on the Heather and Glen album. They’re attributed to Flora McNeill and others. It’s an old track of Alan Lomax interviewing a group of women working singers, interpersed with their songs. These specific songs are named clearly in the cover, and I can’t understand Gaelic. Thank you! Sarah |
