Subject: Owen Hugh, where are you???

at Otley folk festival 1998, I met a young musician called Owen Hugh, who was Scottish and reminded me very much of a young Donovan, in both appearance and style. He has bought a van, and having given up his job, had decided to tour the festivals of the UK and then move over to the U.S.A and tour the folk clubs over there. I was very impressed by his songs which had beautiful melodies and wonderful lyrics. I still play his CD, which I negotiated at a reasonable price over a bacon sandwich at the campsite.I wonder if any other Mudcatters ever came across Owen, who was a modest and unassuming character. I hope he had the success he sought and very much deserved. Please let me know if your paths ever crossed.
