Are you thinking performing or jamming? There are some open mikes I dream of taking over down here (the singer-songwriters are thick as flies) There are also occasionally (too occasionally) music parties that happen. I'll keep you posted.

We do two from your list as well.

I will be checking out the others too.

Hard, Ain't it Hard!
Three Score and Ten
Rolling In My Sweet Baby's Arms
Little Maggie
Darling Corey
Long Black Veil
May the Circle Be Unbroken
So Long, It's Been Good to Know You
A Capital Ship for an Ocean Trip
Follow the Drinking Gourd
Kisses Sweeter Than Wine
The Girl with the Nut-Brown Hair
The Moonshiner
Copper Kettle

These are all well known and will probably get young and old singing along, provide a varied tempo and cover a range of origins. Just as a sorta startin' up list.

A

Hi ! Starting a new accoustic american folk band. One accoustic guitar, one slide guitar, bass and banjo. Banjo is prominent as are the vocals...so rich harmony is preferable. I like Seeger, The Weavers and Kingston trio stuff but I am not familiar with the genre enough to make an informed choice. I should expect 20 to 30 tunes will do the trick. Gonna play for fun then try to bring the music to the young and old.
