There is a pub in Tampa known as Four Green Fields. I have not been there yet, but others I know that go there on a regular basis say it is a very nice place. I would assume from their talk that this would be a place to go to find out more.

Don:

Visit the Friends of Florida Folk Web Site (www.FOFF.org), and sign up for the FOFF email list. Post your question there...I'm a member of the FOFF Board, but I live in Jacksonville. I do know that there is a strong folk community over on our west coast.

Good luck, and c'mon down! (mid 70's this weekend even up here in Jax).

Paul G.

Can anybody help me find people in the Tampa, St. Peterburg, Dunedan, Sarasota, Ybor City, Clearwater are who are interested in singing sea chanties and/or Irish/English music. I've spent my life in the lap of musical luxery in Washington, DC and am considering a move to Tampa, FL

Any assistance, contacts, etc. would be welcome.

TIA
